Fees for services
Core Service: Initial one-hour consultation - $150
Includes my prior review of your detailed questionnaire and the consultation session which is used for case review, education and strategizing. This can be done before or after you apply for benefits or appeal a denial decision. In most cases, this core service will be all that’s needed to help you apply or appeal and to self-manage your case. Some may prefer additional consultations when issues arise, denials occur, or help with completing forms (i.e. application, Function Report, Work Background, Request for Reconsideration, Request for Hearing by an Administrative Law Judge).
Fees & Requesting a Consultation
Optional Records Review - $100 per hour
Your records are key to your case. While not required, a records review can better inform my understanding of your case and how to guide you. I can review medical, vocational, educational or related records as well as Social Security letters and decision notices that you make available to me securely before or after the one-hour consultation.
Optional Follow up Written Plan - $100
Your personalized game plan: A summary of case strengths and weaknesses, recommendations and methods for improving your disability evidence and proving your case, practical reminders of how to work with the system to avoid delays, etc. This will include referrals to other disability-related benefits, services and supports.
Optional follow up 30-minute session - $50 (as many as you like)
Optional follow-up 60-minute session - $100 (as many as you like)
Optional application/forms assistance - $75 (direct assistance completing application forms and/or additional forms you will receive after your application is submitted)
Optional appeal assistance - $50 (direct assistance completing appeal forms)
Optional wrap-up session if approved - $50
This session will help you understand what to expect with your payments, your health insurance, when to expect the periodic review, how to maintain your benefits and prepare for the periodic medical review, and tips on managing your Social Security benefit.
Training - $125/hour
Social Security disability benefits training at $125/hour includes hours spent preparing requested content and traveling to training location.
I have extensive experience conducting trainings for individuals, family members, and professionals addressing all aspects of obtaining and maintaining these benefits.
Services at no cost to you
Information and Referral - at no cost to clients, I can introduce you to the many services, benefit programs and supports (specific to your disability when necessary) available to improve your quality of life including the many laws and protections in place as you navigate life with a disability.
Note: Sessions will use the Zoom platform unless phone or in-person is requested.
